About matrixOS
matrixOS is a Debian based distribution built by me, ScentedOrange. It has a simple goal, providing a solid distribution for users wanting a solid easy to use TDE/KDE3 experience, with a similar feel to the distros of the "good ol' days".
There are not alot of distributions that put TDE first and put a focus on a polished user experience. I hope to slowly fill that niche and become the go-to beginners TDE distro, no extra time needed to install your favourite desktop environment.
About me.
I am long time Linux user, with the first time I used Linux being around when I was 8 years old. I still remember enjoying Kubuntu 7.04 with KDE3, and later tying openSUSE; eventually to find myself disappointed with KDE4 and newer desktops.
This project was born from an idea to create my own live ISO, and has since been a tool to keep me out of my unproductive depressive slump, and to relearn many of the skills I have lost over the years.
Thank you for checking out matrixOS, I really appreciate it.
